What to remember

1

Debriefing happens right after an activity.

2

Ask: What happened? How did you feel? What did you learn?

3

Reflection turns experience into learning.

After every activity, take time for debriefing. This is a structured conversation where participants reflect on what just happened. Start with facts: What happened during the activity? Then feelings: How did you feel? Then learning: What did you learn? And finally application: How will you use this in real life? Without debriefing, an activity is just a game. With debriefing, it becomes a learning experience.
