What to remember

1

Youth work helps young people grow and develop.

2

It happens outside school — in clubs, camps, and projects.

3

Youth workers are guides, not teachers.

Youth work is about supporting young people in their personal development. It takes place outside the formal education system — in youth clubs, summer camps, international exchanges, and community projects. A youth worker is not a teacher. They are a guide who helps young people discover their strengths, build confidence, and participate in society.
